i was given such a run around tryin to find out what was wrong with me then the dr told me i had pcos but hasnt told me about it, which is why iv watched your video which has helped and explained away a lot of symptoms i would never had thought had anythin to do with it, iv been given no advice or pills of any kind but have another scan (my third just to keep an eye on them) but they never seem to tell me anything. it was the nurse takin my blood that told me i wouldnt be able to hav kids

Talk to your local Homeopath and you will be surprised to find that it is a curable dis-ease.

Great video! I was just diagnosed a year and a half ago, and it's been rough dealing with it. I'm on so many medications now all for different symptoms, it's pretty overwhelming. But I just started my own channel about getting healthy and pretty much living without hating myself and my disorder. I meet with a nutritionist regularly and I have been exercising five days a week, and I've already lost 20 pounds total. Much love to you and all our other cysters.

Just wanted to say thank you for getting the word out there! So many people I know have never even heard of PCOS, and thought my husband and I were joking when we tried to explain that this was why we couldnt concieve. I am on 2000mg of metformin and we are about to start our first round of clomid this month. We ar egoing for 2 cycles and than onto IUI if I dont become pregnant. I wish you and everyone else all the best in treating and learning more about PCOS!

@Brittzie4806 maybe not but its how cysters process carbs that causes the weight gain etc if u see my MM post, look inot it only thing that has worked for me.i found out about teh book on the site i blog on.
I'm recovering from a hysteroscopy and a laparoscopy right now! I FINALLY found a Dr that wasn't lazy and one that didn't treat me like some guinea pig, "Oh well just take these and check back in 6 months and we'll just see"... yeah, while in the meantime I'm getting fat, having unbearable pain and either bleeding nonstop or not at all. I struggled with these symptoms for 13 years, and I'm 24. The hysteroscopy scraped the huge amnt. of tissue in my uterus, the lap. was for a huge paratubal cyst.

Oh wow. I definitely got the run around when the doctors were trying to figure out what was wrong with me. They never even considered I had PCOS. Thank you for sharing your story :)

Have any of you that have pcos ever heard of a hydrasalpinx? A hydrasalpinx is a fluid filled tube and can cause a lot of problems. it can be coupled with pcos. Anyway, I thought i'd throw that out there because that too is something that should be checked when you have pcos. When getting checked out, go to your ob, not your gp. Anyway Blessings to all and wishing good health.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know if it can be found through the HSG (dye test)?

I'm sorry. I know what you mean though. I haven't had a period since August. It makes it rough when you are trying to get pregnant. I am hoping to go to a fertility specialist soon. Good luck in your journey. :)
