I feel that if our people in most of these video clips give half their time from fashion and put it into farming, they wouldn't be starving. In just about every video, I've witnessed fertile land along with lush vegetation in the background. It is not at all what I imagine that came along with a starving population like, very little water, dry land with little plant life, or land that can't grow food.
