Can someone explain to me why China and Japan are so dominant in womens wrestling, I mean their men's teams always get beat but for some reason they're women are unstoppable. It can't be genetic if the men are not as good.
I don't want to take anything away from them, but rumors say they rely on a lot of doping because steroids are a lot harder to detect in Asian athletes

I believe that's ridiculous. I don't think in fact there is any doping.
What they really on is hard training, good support, and the
popularity of the sport. Young girls have stars in their eyes hoping to be the next Yoshida, and they are willing to work for it. That's basically it.

I can only hazard a guess, but I think the competition for the men is much stiffer. If you really put some effort into a girl's team, you can have spectacular results.
