The Cap and Trade Project will pressure & US Senators in 6 different states to vote "NO" to cap & trade.
We are using a Web-A-Thon on July 10th to raise $50,000 to take up this daunting task.

  • cap and trade(taxes)as the intelligent sara palin stated was originally needed and instilled in their speeches when they ran unsucessfully for president and vice president. How quickly we forget. Search the videos.ORRRRR check with WNBC news who happened to have a copy of their speeches.

  • What about the fact that the coal burning factories, aka, coal fired power plants emit toxic chemicals that cause health problems such as asthma? My mom just passed away from asthma in Arkansas that is not natural.

  • Look out! Man-Bear-Pig is behind you!

  • My bad *Arthur* E. Robinson, he has 2 sons. Anyway...

Arthur Robinson, a biochemist- not a climate scientist, wrote a paper on how carbon dioxide is good. This paper has never been published my any Scientific journal (although it said NAS on it, the National Academy of Sciences produced a very strong statement condemning the use of their name in the paper and pointing out the falsity).

The Paper has no backing (an none of the authors we experts or knowledgeable about the field), but -->

  • Professor John Chirsty's interview is cut short, and I'll look at this in two ways:

1st: In SF Chronical (a liberal, but fact checking newspaper): he says the fact that human pollution is not causing climate change is "inconceivable". Perlman, David (December 18, 2003). "Earth warming at faster pace, say top science group's leaders". San Francisco Chronicle. pp. A-6.

2nd. Professor John Christy is talking about a very sad story that stems from the actions of Noah E. Robinson -->

3rd that statement number 1 is perfectly true and economics is a frozen state. By frozen state, you suggests the money or "trades" for overproduction of carbon dioxide have no benefits. Lets look at benefits, 1, moving money around is what a weak economy needs, 2, reduction of pollution means more efficient production. Less waste = more saved.

    3. "Unresolved Science": 1st -very jumbled around (no proof can't link right into "bad") -you've got to prove it first. About the proof -->

  • First, in a good debate site sources "Many America companies"- I'm sooo worried that could be 1 in a zillion.

    Now lets address your points:

    1. Energy Costs: although sombodyquiet has a good point, it should also be pointed out that companies pay pennies to what we do for the amount of energy they use (gas and other).

    2. Sending Companies oversees: This is a poor claim because it suggests; 1st that are companies aren't strong, 2nd that the US doesn't have benefits for companies, and 3rd that -->

  • cap and trade sounds like what we need in America. I live in Colorado and if Senator Benet does not suppor it, I will not support him. Our Earth is dying... we need cap and trade... the capitalists do not know enough... but we havd to tell them enough is enough... We need cap and trade now!!!!!!! Global warming is real!

  • People said the same thing when we wanted to raise fuel efficiency standards. It would kill the automakers they said, well lo and behold, every industrial nation raised their standards above ours and it certainly didn't destroy their economies.

  • THank you!! I'm sending my donation today. Oh, yes we CAN!!
