@aldomann09 My understanding is that Gnome Shell is the 3D component which makes the new interface for Gnome 3, no?

Is there a bottom panel like in GNOME 2, or is there only the top panel like in GNOME Shell? Your video never showed the bottom of the screen while you were logged in.

Install Virtual Box Guest Additions after doing this (For Ubuntu): sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-generic, (For SUSE): sudo zypper install gcc make automake autoconf kernel-source kernel-syms. Then all the goodness will be activated.

@avaloscesar Yes it is, if you don't have any idea please do not comment. One thing is Gnome 3 and the other, very different, Gnome Shell.

You need to install Guest Additions in VirutalBox, so that Gnome 3 could be activated. Just install it and run 'gnome-shell --replace'.
