A brief (and incomplete) snapshot of the past 100+ years of educational technology
NOTE: Although this is an educational, no-profit video, the original, credited audio track - Roll Tide by Hans Zimmer (Universal Distribution) - has been changed due to a copyright claim by a third party. A sad, yet timely, footnote to this short video. Will copyright policies evolve in the 21st century?
thanks for this dewd

It is interesting that we no longer set limits for weight, speed, or need. I believe we finally caught on that there is really no limit. Books have not been replaced by technology, only supplemented. Go Fayetteville State Broncos!

Our classrooms haven't changed enough over the past 100 years. Teachers need additional training, support and resources so that they can teach an increasingly diverse student population in and increasingly technological society.

I love the quote from Thomas Edison. Almost 100 years later it isn't true, but it really could be.

The focus should be on the teacher who must be up to date...ALWAYS. We cannot follow, we must lead mankind to all directions, not following old, outdated trails, but by making new once in all directions. almc2242 (MA Edu. Tech).

Excellent video! technology is changing the world and if we want change to our educational systems the focus should be on the human element which is the teacher. Greetings to all our teachers and May God bless you all.

Its a good video that shows how Educationa Technology changed in the past 100 years... is just not a matter of changing technology we need to change the metodology too if we want a bigger impact in our society!!!
