This is one for Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum; Celine and her wonderful voice and song make it lovely though. Jane Seymour is stunning, but why look at the life of an angel through the eyes of the devil? Callas became a heavy drinker under Onassis' grip and it ruined her voice for awhile, and her desire to go back to the theater never returned as forcefully as before. It took his death for her voice to return, mysteriously. Her 1974 concert was her best in 15 years, and her rehearsals were good.

i have read many, many books about Callas and i have never read anything about her developing a drinking problem.
