I love Boston, and I love Stryper. Different kinds of music, both incredible in their own rights. Brad Delp's voice was instantly recognizable. But Michael Sweet is every bit the vocalist Brad was....again, just different. Michael is one of a very short list that could pull off Brad's incredible vocals.

RIP Brad, and RIP to Michael's wife, Kyle.

Michael will never sing like Brad, and Brad WILL NEVER sing like Michael. I like both singers, but, to compare those guys is just the most dumbless thing to do in the whole world! Brad rocks! Michael rocks. And you, mr. "I'm the old school guy with my never-changed opnion about rock'n'roll" really, really sucks!

Hi jamzusa, If you read my original post, I never said Sweet was better than Brad. I merely said in the many concerts I have been to, Sweet is the best live singer I personally have heard on more than one occasion (in my opinion). That doesn't mean he's the best on the planet or better than Brad. In fact, I wasn't even making a comparison between the two even though you are. I was just saying I wouldn't mind hearing Sweet sing with Boston.

@Skiddledeedoo Funny but not funny your last comment there... Yeh, it's sad he's gone and was one of the best if not THE best in his day... NOT replacable ESPECIALLY by this Michael Sweet guy. Everyone seems to be tone deaf and can't tell when someone's hitting high notes or not. Michael canNOT hit the notes Brad did and sounds like Stryper....
