This song really hits home. It's where I'm at today. I wish more songs reflected how we can find ourselves in need of uplifting, but all I seem to hear is proclamations from those that have already "arrived" and forget those who still need help getting there. Thanks for the inspiritional prayer in your song. I hope you know how much it helps!

While I wait for my sister to come out of a heart attack in the ICU this song is very powerful to me. I pray God will resurrect her and touch her heart and heal it with his power to his glory. May his name recieve the glory and praise!

Her name is Nicole Sponberg (maiden name is Smith, I think). Was in Selah with her brother and another guy. Left a year or two ago. I believe she left 'coz she and her husband have a special needs child. I think I heard that somewhere. And, I never thought about it, but she does sound kinda like Annie Lennox. And, nailspluscross...I'm pretty sure her voice has always been husky. The girl in Selah now has a more clear and higher-pitched voice. I like deep, husky female singing voices.
