By the way...it got taken back by a American infantry battalion 1/508 PIR in 3 days.....then ANA came in for a photo op. The US said 'fuck this' and sent a real unit to go fuck up the Taliban. The US leaves helmand mainly to NATO because most of the US light infantry units are sent to the mountains, where the real fight is
