Mount & Blade - Sieging Almerra Castle

This must be one of the most difficult to siege castles, the inner courtyard is like being a fish in a barrel, and soon as you get up on the wall you realize you just jumped into a different barrel.
I usually push my troops up against the wall and secure that area, then head over to the entrance and clear two sides of the square. From there I keep my archers centered until the ladder top is clear and move them there.
Usually the Rhodoks own this castle, but here Swadia has it. Their crossbows and the fact that their low tier solders use military picks make them tough to siege. Even lowly solders can pierce the best armour here.

For some reason I kept finding myself stuck in this siege, unable to swing my weapon, or it was delayed. I couldn't jump a few times either, maybe it was the video capture.

@Overlord2383 but if you cheats you can press Ctrl+F4 and then you get healed

Plate armor is not the best, the boiliord or something armor is better and more expensive

I know most people mix up their armies with different nationalities but I like to stick with a certain kingdom. If that kingdom doesn't have archers or doesn't have calvary,then I'll hire mercenaries to fill in those spots.
