@ticket2 I feel sorry for him, he keeps using up his bodies too quickly, if regeneration doesnt mean that much to him then why did he say in the end of time "i dont want to go", regeneration is basically a death and a birth for a new man, the old one dies, its like saying one of us died but our memories were put into someone else, he's not the same man, i dont see the point in regeneration if it changes everything that makes him who he is

@MrHashMasterFlex Our personas are mere reflections of the people and events we go through that help shape our personalities. That's why the Doctor hates traveling alone. He needs his mainly inquistive human companions too help him discover himself especailly after each regeneration. the wonder of having the ability to live on after ones death and still be at your core the same person but living with a fresh outlook rather than the tragic end we humans face regenerating would be cool :D

@MrHashMasterFlex At the time of each of the Doctors regenerations it may feel like dying to the Doctor whom is regenerating but fact is the Doctor is not he gets too live on with the memories of his previously lived personas and all their acquired knowledge. quite frankly we humans got a shitty deal. To be able to start anew and still be in essence who you started out as that would be a miracle. Human life has so few true miracles. We live we decay and die it's not right, it's NOT FAIR at all.

@ticket2 I'd love to have the ability to regenerate too but if you think about it, everytime he regenerates he is a different man with someone elses memories, not his own, he even said in The End Of Time that it "feels like dying" everytime he regenerates.
