So we see from Jesus & the beginning of Christianity that gods will comes about through pain, suffering, & even death.
Further more the verses that talk about the Jews returning to Israel, describe it as a time of difficulty.
They use the metaphor of the pangs of child birth. See Isaiah 66 & Zechariah 12.
