It's an early start for Evald...he's busy tending to his 300 cows on his farm of around 200 hectares. Evald lives and works 40 kilometres from Aarhus in a small village on Denmark's Jutland peninsula. He comes from good farming stock following in the footsteps of his father and his grand father...However in 1994 Evald decided to go organic.

  • CAP - invisable genocide. The rich world pushed South Africa to end APARTHEID in the 90's(and they did thankfully). Today we have Economic Apartheid and its borders: south of EU and USA.

Add to this the biofuel (Green Climate religious movement). No words - just Government failure and innorant rationalists .

  • One of the reasons for the food crisis is precisely because of CAP - we've undermined LDC farmers for so long that they have not been able to invest and expand because the EU has spent years dumping our excess on developing markets. It's right not to be antipathetic - be vehemently against CAPs existence.

  • In Ireland we must continue the payments as they exist and have most paid to our big farmers- the viable ones?

Also important to deny the European taxpayer any access to information as to where their money goes.

  • Scrap the CAP NOW!!

  • cut agricultural subsidies. give africans a chance to trade with the rest of the world!!!!!

  • Farm Subsidy's should be for Farmers who really need it and nothing else. For bad weather or in a bad Economy. And they should be in a form of Insurance where they pay into it to make more affordable for Tax Payers.

  • @EUrepublic it is becuse unlike normal oil it is a regrowing fule

  • Absolutely 5:16 more little farmers do not need as much subsidies as large industrial farmers and fairer.

  • Biofuel isn't even rational.. These ignoratns just destroy nature to protect nature! What kind of conservation is that??

  • Best news for EU this year, we spend to much on farming, could use these funds on better ways like infrastructure and security by our boarders

  • My analysis leads me to the opposite conclusion: That staple (basic) food is something not to depend on other countries or continents on, and that due to its ultra crucial to survival nature, the US and the EU and most counntries or federations thereof should be quite self-sufficient in the basic foods department, ie the foods one needs to live (not the one's for "pleasure", these like NAMA (industrial) "goods").
