@DOZEzer Actually he does. Smallville's version is based on the Golden Age Hawkman who was a reincarnated Egyptian prince. That version's wings were built into a harness that he could put on and take off. You're likely thinking of the modern version who is a Thanagarian, an alien with natural wings. That's why Smallville's Hawkman makes reference to Prince Khufu later on.

I really liked how they handled doctor fate, but i bloody hated that costume :/

@firefrost89 C'mon, this was a special episode! What I didn't know the first time I saw it was that it was longer then an hour so I stayed up later then I usually do, but I just love seeing them bring more heroes into Smallville. I also love the back story to this episode seeing what happen before Clark was around & there were fine performances by everybody who was cast.I couldn't be happier with this episode.

seriously..It takes 5 very powerful superheroes including kal-el to take down one measly villian who shoots ice cubes...and whats up with hawkman's wings..looks like pieces of cotton stuck to cardboard like in a two year olds angel/fairy costume..they could afford to make 10 seasons but couldnt give smallville's hawkman a decent pair of wings..and dont get me started on star girl's staff...from which 7th grade school play did they get it from?
