Documentary about playground legend Booger Smith. Film crew followed Booger, his mentor/coach Kenny Jones and their team - the Kenny Kings - for one summer in Brooklyn summer tournaments. Name of the documentary is Soul In The Hole.
This is the last (9th) part of the documentary.

Everybody mentions Booger. But what about Kenny King?! Maybe this guy is the real hero in this movie.
Providing a home, being a father, supporting Booger and the team and never turning his back on him. Think about it.

@19932006295 Hot Steppazz out of Helsinki 2000 to 2005. Kissa Halli was our home gym. They just won the national title for 18 to 22 years. I work in film as a AD and now I've got the motive to write a Finnish "Bad News Bears" of basketball story. LOL

Iso Hyva - That's " Real Good" in Finnish. As a black North American who was a Finnish basketball coach. Finding Soul in the Hole, years later with Finnish sub titles is pretty astonishing. Rare even, think this is NYC streetball a few years before And 1 caught on. So yeah this is a classic and historic piece. Tell a friend.
