The Spring Temple Buddha statue is officially the tallest statue in the world. Standing at 153 m (503 ft) it is a truly awesome sight to behold. It reminds me of the bronze giant in Jason and the Argonauts but in a nice way. Once you have seen this statue, you won't want to see any other statue (except for the Statue of Liberty), it really is quite amazing.

  • excellent video, for a couple of second si felt like i was there. the video cuality and the sound are superb. great job, very natural video. :)

  • @TheJunkalos Thank you for the comment, cheers.

  • can you go to the top of the head?

  • @hererd5 I'm not sure as there was building work being carried during the visit. There is another level where one can stand next to base of the statue. It would be great if you could go to top like the Statue of Liberty in New York.

  • WTF why did you drive against incoming traffic?

  • I wasn't driving the minibus, plus the oncoming black car was in the wrong lane. From experience this type of driving is very common in China.

  • It is a swastika used by many religions in Asia such as Hinduism and Buddhism. The German Nazis adopted this symbol in 1920, as a result many people associate this symbol as being evil.

  • The video starts off as a tutorial to how to drive against incoming traffic

  • The nazist invented this symbol. Because of the jewish dynamite, now the Buddhists hate jews and has converted to nazism.

  • @blakepeary its a swastika not a nazi symbol, and it isnt exclusive to nazis, its like calling a mermaid a starbucks symbol

  • Edit: thesedays

  • impressive but the chinese really do make things look cheap and tacky.

  • @Goorney Thank you for your fine video of this huge and inspiring Buddha figure. When I read your comment about the swastika I was intrigued, and found this description on Wikipedia ...

.. the swastika remains widely used in Indian religions, specifically in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, primarily as a tantric symbol to evoke 'shakti' or the sacred symbol of good luck. The swastika is also a Chinese character used in East Asia representing eternity and Buddhism.

  • the buddha lived a thousand years before muhammad.
