  • It is no longer good for bear country. When I was traveling to Alaska, two of the Canadian Provintial Parks were not allowing any type of tent camping because of bear problems. This included any kind of fold up camper. My teardrop was acceptable because of hard walls. I also felt somewhat safer.

  • @lsmith254 12 Volt would be exactly what you're looking for for most things, but some items you'll probably still need to up-convert to 110/220v (depending on where you live & what you'll be trying to run off it).

  • @siafulinux Will do, then. I have been buying parts all spring and summer, and will be working on an electrical system pretty soon, as I know nothing of how that might be done and will need to know before construction begins., since I plan to build a non-conventional teardrop. Neighbor is a great electrician.Aiming for 12 volt and maybe solar.

  • @lsmith254 Cool, would be nice to see what you've done. :)

  • @siafulinux maybe he is not checking his notifications. Someday he will see and maybe he will post a reply. I am patient... I already have my teardrop plans. Someday I will post those; the build should start this winter. I will post pics and a vid, too. ;.)

  • @lsmith254 I guess he can't?

  • Sorry ... this Danish solution seems better to me :-)

  • Nice! I Always love to see new and interesting design! You should post a video of the inside.

  • '

    great camper trailer

  • Can you post a longer video with a view of the inside, please? Looks very classy; can you also take a trip around the perimeter with the video camera? Thanks!
