  • I really believe the treatment of gay people will go down in history as the worst social tragedy of my generation (gen x). First woman sturggled for their rights, then came the Black folks and now the LGBT community is battling for its equal treatment. Each time another group attempts to gain first class citizenship, the conservatives (little "c", status-quo) use the same trite arguments that our country's at risk. Yet through all these changes, we're still here.

  • Dustin Lance Black is a HERO!

  • @louden2908 Preach brother...

  • @gbebout Homosexuality is NOT a sex act just like I assume you already realize and recognize that heterosexuality is NOT. Don't be a closet homophobe pretending to ask "pertinent", logical questions. Come out and at least admit that you are anti-gay regardless of the truth. You're just another hetero-supremacist like any other common hate monger. Own it!

  • @gbebout just trying to avoid LGBT kids to kill themselves because all they see is "gay is wrong". just that

    ;)

  • Saw the Perez video. Is that what you're fighting for?

  • What will you do when the hair goes out? I saw your secret video. Is that what you're fighting for? It really put things in perspective.

  • social equality will never be reached to its full potiential as long as their are biassed parents still, that continue the teaching of hate on purpose or through their actions. It needs to stop now role model it up

  • @Silverwire100 excuse me? what do you mean there was no character development? Harvey Milk developed and grew as a person and a politician throughout this time, his achievements prove that. And, yes, while I agree that award shows can sometimes be political, effectively writing a script and transferring historical information to a film format is why he won the oscar.

  • 26% of LGBT youth are kicked out of their homes after coming out? Is that for real? That's one in four gay kids...

  • this guy should have been fired on the spot. actually, this guy is amazing for being such a complete fucking asshole.
