  • It's funny how preachers of the doctrines of grace are often nowadays UN gracious, I am so thankful for pastors such as John Piper who actually keep the GRACE!!!! in the doctrines of grace. Reformed Presbyterians (like myself) and Reformed baptists today are over-reacting against antinomianism that they become nomian! Christ is THE POINT, Christ is THE ONLY, Christ is all that is needed! I thank Jesus for Calvinist's like John Piper who still feel right preaching CHRIST ALONE !

  • Praise God for being who He is!! Hallelujah to You Lord!!!

  • Because Jesus explains the analogy at the start of the section in John 6:35: "Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever COMES TO ME shall not HUNGER; and whoever BELIEVES in me shall never THIRST." So coming to Jesus is equate with eating bread and believing in Him is equated with drinking. Since He goes on to say that the bread that He would give for the life of the world is His flesh. He is referring to His impending death: the breaking of His body and the shedding of His blood.

  • @M400fan Alright, how do we know which parts to take literally and which to take "spiritually?"

  • @csnowutube It's not to be interpreted literally - it's spiritual thirst that can only be satisfied by what Jesus' blood achieved for us.

  • @itsclassygal4u I'm still searching. thanks

  • @csnowutube Wait, do you believe God and Jesus?

  • @itsclassygal4u

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Thanks. peace

  • @csnowutube Yes it is. He shed His blood for us. I'm not arguing with you so I'm ending this now. Jesus is alive and well. That is that. Thankyou, have a nice day.

  • @itsclassygal4u I know. It's not literal when he comes back from the dead either. Lol.

  • @csnowutube Not literally. lol

  • I have no thirst to drink blood. Disgusting.
