Again, I don't get it. Our republic contains centralized governments, on national, state and local levels. A decentralized government would be horizontal, anarchist.

The republic is no longer a republic, except in name only. the (beast) FED's jurisdiction is only 10sq miles of washington DC.
The states have their own constitution and duties,
the local (closest) is where community standards, bylaws etc are designed and executed (constitutionally of course).
This way when they try any funny business, they are well with in firing distance.
2nd amendment.
Instead of far away dealing in secret.

The closest local government would therefore be better responsive to the peoples needs and wishes. Well they would have to be or else.
Human nature, my neighbor in need has more urgency and meaning to me than some one I am told there is in place far from me that I will never see. And that is if I can trust the far away, aloof , corrupt elitist we now have. Too much power in too few hands. as well as money

Read A People's History of the United States, then tell me that this government has existed "at the pleasure of the sovereign people".

(cont'd) And the elite impose their wishes on us, by teaching us elitist values from childhood in public schools & silencing opposing values, choosing whom to push to the top of the hill for us to vote upon to rule us, controlling our culture through production & advertisements (deciding what we buy, thus what we live for) - & maintaining a system of government that defends property-owners' control over the rest of us.

If you tell Marxists & anarchists to shut up, who will fight on your side?

Thats right, it all came about when the Federal Government absconded with states rights.
They took over schools among the many things they now control. Thats what is herding us to the new world order.
The smaller and closer government the more interaction and control the people have.
Thats how America was originally set up.
All the ills you mention is the result of a monolithic central government.

I think someone has misrepresented Marxism to you, because it certainly does not suggest a politico-economic system in which the needs and desires of the people are ignored. Someone called the 20th century. It requires collective ownership of resources and heavy individual responsibility to the community, but not a monolithic, top-down system by which labor and capital are arranged.

Marxism was represented to the Russians, scary.
What you are describing is
"Rerum Novarum "
And that is the Satanic Vatican New World Order.

No, again, the Russians, instead of establishing a dictatorship (rule) of the proletariat (working class), filed single-file behind a totalitarian dictator (Yosef Stalin) who was hardly a better listener to the people than the czars.

A rule of the people by the people is not Satanic (certainly not LaVeyan Satanism, which is basically Nietzsche by a different name, who praised inequalities between humans), it has nothing to do with the Vatican, nor what's commonly called the "New World Order".
