dude some of those images were scanned. Check Mona Lisa's image and zoom in on background or compare them in photoshop make 2 layers and make top layer a bit transparent and you will see that it's scanned.

No its not scanned! He have talent, and work many hours and days fod doing his artworks! I know because I am a pixel artist since 1991 and now on, and I know what is the (much!) work in the pixel arts.
That's when you sitting hours, days, front of the monitor, just work and work.. but these cool times are gone....

Nothing was scanned. He just repainted some of this pics from original.

I have to say that some of his work was scanned and re touched by him. Mona Lisa was scanned! If you have the original, zoom in on the background and you will see that this is scan. Actually, many of his gfx he did in mid 90 were scanned and re touched. Everyone was thinking how he's drwing some of his gfx, how come they look soo amazing.. Its the time to say the truth - SOME OF HIS WORK IS SCANNED!!!

My buddy sd- just showed me this. Damn, I think your pixel Mona Lisa is better the DaVinci's original! ;) At least, it required more skill.
As someone who has tried and failed to pixel, you make me extremely jealous.
