  • Facts? Like the fact not to "ever" buy gaming laptops? Who are you Charles Schwab? Like you can stop people from buying whatever pc they like. lol. People have their own right to choose whatever platform they need depends on their budget and pref.

Have you watched the vid? It can SUPPORT the latest games it has an i7 plus a powerful 280m card, no SLi yet unlike the AW m17x. Even gaming lappys can't match desktops, they were close.

Quit your BS. Widen your knowledge so that you'll learn sumthn

  • Copying my diss shows how weak you are. You just exposed yourself, troll. Get lost.

  • @1994chocolatemilk No. Not ever. Performance in quality is another thing from performance in low quality. Performance in low quality is a kind of oxymoron. It is actually just a marketing trick.

  • @teemuruskeepaa Not yet, soon though, as this video clearly states, this laptop was built around being able to fully utilize desktop grade processors, as ssd drives become smaller and superior we begin to open up more room on these larger laptops for desktop grade graphics cards. I am willing to bet that eventually laptops will be at a comparable performance level to desktops, not yet, but eventually. All we have to do is deal with heat matters and size, both easily remedied.

  • @1994chocolatemilk True. But first you were talking about the performance being comparable. No it isn't.

  • @teemuruskeepaa I have seen plenty of quality computers, desktops and laptops. Modern gaming desktops are undoubtedly superior to a gaming laptop but are also more expensive. For those of us that like to play games on the computer, the new gaming laptops are more than enough to crush the recommended system requirements for any game as long as you are willing to shell out a lot of money. You also get portability so you can go to LAN parties if you wanted to. So laptops are of higher quality.

  • @1994chocolatemilk Oh, and you are mediocre. You buy portable and have never seen quality.

  • @1994chocolatemilk Impossible. It's not for nothing that ATX-motherboards can carry memory modules with high heatsinks, processors with heatsinks and 32 cm long NVIDIA graphics cards. I think you may been misled by the fact that modern games have been made to run smoothly with low setting that don't look bad. But high quality brakes that illusion completely, were you to test this laptop with ultrahigh DX11 settings in first person shooters.

  • @teemuruskeepaa Laptops have caught up to desktops in terms of performance quite nicely actually. In fact, this particular laptop has only slightly less power than a maxed out Alienware desktop, bit cheaper too.

  • @300Pr0z0r You can play most if not all games on that system but I don't know being able to max out the graphics or anything like that, although I would see if you could get an Nvidia because the ATI drivers are a real bitch to install, Nvidia's a bit more user-friendly when it comes to installing drivers.

  • They have a new version of this with the gtx 480m on it
