Harry Potter Halloween Special 2007 - Lacrymose

OKay gusy,

this is my Halloween special, dedicated to the Harry Potter world ^^
You will notice that it is really different from all my other stuff.
However, I hope you´ll like and enjoy it ^^
I think it fits Halloween quite well xP

For all who have problems to follow the text:

"Halloween is the night before All Hallows Eve.

For the muggles it means that u dress up, go around and play "trick or treat".

But in the wizarding world on Halloween happens so much more...


Halloween 1492:
Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Poroington is executed, dies however first after the 54th blow. However, the ax was so blunt that its
head was not detached completely. Therefore as a ghost in Hogwarts,
he got the nickname "Nearly-headless-Nick"
and to his regrettings, he is not allowed to participate at the hunt of the headless.

Halloween 1981:
Lord Voldemort kills James and Lily Potter.
He fails at the try to kill Harry, too and disappears. From this day on, Harry has a lightening-scar on his forehead and is titled as "the boy who lived".

Halloween 1991:
During the Halloween-party and with Quirrel´s help, a mountain troll could enter the castle. While all teacher try to cath it, Snape can stop Quirrel from getting the Philosopher´s Stone.
In the meantime, Ron and Harry rescue Hermione from the mountain troll in the bathroom of "Moaning Myrtle" and from now on the 3 are friends.

Halloween 1992:
Harry, Ron and Hermione visit the 500th
Death-Day of the Nearless-Headless-Nick instead of going to the feast in the Great Hall. Later on they discoeve the first
victim of the Basilisk: Filch´s cat Mrs. Norris.

Halloween 1993:
Sirius Black comes to Hogwarts and attacks the Fat Lady to get into the Gryffindors Common Room, to kill Peter Pettigrew. But everybody thinks he wants to get Harry and therefore they search the catsle while all students have to spend the night in the Great Hall.

Halloween 1994:
The Goblet of Fire tells the Champions for the Triziard Tounament:
Cedric Diggory for Hogwarts,
Fleur Delacour for Beauxbatons,
Viktorm Krum for Durmstrang -
and Harry Potter.
Although Harry didn´t
put his name into the Goblet and is too
young for the Tournament, he becomes the 4rth Champion.


That was the last time, something
special happened on Halloween ...
Voldemort got his power back
and maybe there can be a new beginning
after someone defeats him
regarding to the symbolic meaning
of Halloween ...

... but since Voldemort is defeated now
maybe something strange
will happen this Halloween ...

...again...

WOW! This is amazing! I've never noticed all the wizarding stuff that happened on Halloween...it's crazy! I loved the coloring of the vid...and the music at the end and the Lacrymose song was brilliant!

no the books came out in the late 90s and up until 2007...the years in which events happen in the books are as stated in the video...Harry Potter was born on July 31st 1980 and from then to 1998 is when the books take place...

great vid, but how can the troll thing from the first film be in 1991? cuz i was born in 1995, and i saw it when i was lke 5 or 6 in the cinema :S
