COMBOTs - short for Communicating Robots - are small robots assembled using components on a breadboard. The robots are powered by 6V sealed lead acid batteries and use a pair of DC geared motors and plastic wheels with rubber grip for traction. The main control circuitry is based around microcontrollers with 8051 core. By adding or subtracting components (RF transceivers, Infrared sensors etc.) to the circuitry and reprogramming the microcontroller one can easily modify the COMBOT to perform any of the following tasks:
Self Localization, Virtual Line Following, Grid Following, Speed Control, Dancing, Learning and Controlling through Mobile, PC and Internet.
