Walked downhill from railrod tracks, tried to follow path to route 65, path was very swampy and muddy and ended at steep impassable hills. Instead of forging ahead or going back through the mud, Penny and I climbed the hill nearest to us that led at the top to a further point on the rairoad tracks. Found the relic sort of buried at the bottom of the hill on the trail. It was made of stone, it quite possibly could be from 50 to 100 years ago as some type of pipe fitting or could be an older relic used by native americans for some unknown purpose.
