This is a power clean followed by 9 front squats... It was supposed to be 10 but I can't count and lift at the same time evidently.

  • how did you catch the 315 at the end?

  • @SteU4IA I just let it hit the ground. The video got cut off and made it look bad

  • @lucasj56 It puts the least stress ont he joint to actually go below parallel. It is pretty well documented. There is still a stigma attached with going below parallel. I would try doing front squats with extremely low weight while going pretty low. this will help build balance and flexibility. Im a strength and conditioning coach for a D1 university and i have seen pretty big improvements in athleticism when athletes become able to lift a decent ammount in a front squat with full range.

  • dude how much do you weigh

  • your legs are strong as fuck

  • i think that kid in the corner is doing it wrong

  • @BustersTexas thanks for the advice im probably gonna start using the hexbar plus it gives you more in a explosive position

  • @BustersTexas I would think for a sprinter coming out of the blocks or a football player that a standard dead lift would be better. A hex bad dead lift would be better for a basketball player or someone who has their spine more "stacked" most of the time. The thing for increasing your vertical would be a variety of actual jumping and plyometric exercises, box jumps, depth jumps stuff like that. Cleans and snatch will help but not a ton. Best way to jump higher is to actually jump haha

  • @delmole85 thanks what is best for vertical or what helped you the most also hexbar deadlifts vs regular deadlifts which one is better ? in your opinion

  • @BustersTexas I could put my arm in the rim at the time of the video. My vertical was a real 34 inches, meaning actually 34 inches. it wasn't testing using the BS football combine method.

  • @delmole85 whats your vertical ? how tall are you just woundering can you grab rim or dunk on 10FT
