@perez0852 First off...Seisan kata is a very difficult kata to do specially for a beginner. My students do Kihon, Ananku, Wansu Kata before they attempt climbing the Seisan mountain. But since you've been put in that situation I suggest...make sure you take your time......... Build from the stance up.........breathing is very important.......define every move......and most important.........keep a COOL HEAD. I hope these words help & I wish you luck!

@bobw72 You are correct about someone that died...it was in the world Tournament in the 90's. But fighting is still allowed and I love doing it!!! I hope I answered your question. Have a great day!! :))

can anyone explain to me what exactly is seidokan karate? Initially, I thought it was seido juku or seido kai kan, but it doesn't resemble those styles.

@TheGoogler77 Seidokan Karate which means "The True Path" is a Shorin-Ryu Karate style from the Ryuku-Islands of Okinawa. Seidokan is also a mixture of many traditional karate styles with joint locks (Toide) from the Motobu-Ryu style. The Master of the Seidokan Karate fighting system is Shian Toma "Ju-Dan" (10th degree). I can understand your confusion because there are many styles that are very similar. I'm afraid as time passes it will become even more confused. Take care & Godspeed.
