Rose, no matter what, always is and will be the best companion for the Doctor. She made him smile and always had the best advice to give him. She made mistakes, of course, which only made her even more perfect. I truly do hope BBC gives her another appearance but I sadly doubt it.

You can definitely see the Doctor is nearly crying at the end of this. And he only ever cries about Rose. You can tell he never wanted to let her go. :'(

I don't even know why I'm crying, it's not THAT sad. The scene from Doomsday is worse, but then again we know that they will see each other again. But now it's the last time with both David and Billie, The Doctor and Rose. And that makes me just feel miserable...

Always loved that the Doctor wanted Rose's smile to be the last face he saw b4 we got 11th Doctor who seems to have no recollection of past companions Rose, Martha, Donna or Wilfred Mott and dreadful Amy Pond who has to be the worst companion in the history of the show along with Rory, This show went to Hell when Russell, Julie and Phil left and that is why David left as well so at least he went out on a High and not have a miserable show at least their was humour and drama in Russells scripts.

The one thing I miss about series five and six is the omission of a family. You have Amy and Rory but the family members were always such a big part of the show - Jackie, Mickey and Wilf in particular!
