Demis POV

I slept over at Selena's house last night. It took us a while to get to sleep after talking to Joe and Nick. We were so excited to see them soon. I hadn't seen them in quite a while and I missed them all. We also got the news that Kevin is now engaged to Danielle who is one of my good friends. I was so happy for them.
Sterling left around 11 and we went to bed around 2. It was now around 12 and Selena and I were sitting at the table. We just woke up. We were both just sitting there. Then my phone buzzed and we jumped.
I picked it up off the table, "Hello?"
"Hey, I'm on my way over," It was Sterling. He was coming back. I smiled.
"Okay," I yawned.
"You sound tired," He chuckled.
"Well, yeah, it was a long night,"
Sterling laughed again, "Okay, I'll be there in 20 minutes,"
"Okay, bye,"
"Bye,"
We hung up and I told Selena he was coming over.
Sterling was my best guy friend aside from Joe. Then of course, Nick and Kevin. I've only known Sterling for maybe 7 or 8 months but we were already like brother and sister after the first month.
Selena pulled me out of my thoughts, "We should get dressed,"
I looked down at my tank top and boy shorts and agreed.
We got changed and then went back downstairs to make some macaroni for lunch. When we had just sat at the table with our bowls, Sterling walked in the front door.
"We're in the kitchen!" Selena yelled. Sterling came in.
"Hey," I smiled up at him.
"I have to go in an hour. Tiffany and I have a Popstar! Photoshoot," he said with a sigh.
"That's cool. Want some macaroni?" I gestured my bowl to him.
"Nah, I just ate," he said, taking a seat at the table.
I shrugged and continued eating.
The three of us hung out for a while then Sterling left.
Selena and I decided to watch some movies. I was spending the night at her house again so there was no rush to pack up and head home.
We took a break and ate dinner around 7.
"Hey, Sel, can I borrow your laptop?" I asked her, inching toward it, sitting on the couch.
Selena plopped down next to it on the couch, "Sure,"
I smiled and picked it up and sat in its place, opening it up.
"I bet Trace left you another message. You're not gonna scream like last time, are you?" She giggled, remembering the last time I got a message from Miley's brother Trace. I really like him and can't help but let off a little steam that he supposedly likes me back.
I logged onto my Twitter and looked at the recent status updates of my friends. Butterflies appeared in my stomach when I saw his name. I read the status update.
My air supply was cut off as I choked, looking at the screen.
"Demi, what's wrong?" Selena asked, worry layering her words as she tore her eyes away from the tv.
"I-I," I couldnt speak. I felt tears spring to my eyes as I read the dreaded words over and over again. The tears poured from my eyes as I gasped for air. I put the computer on the couch and ran upstairs and locked myself in Selena's room. I threw myself on her bed and sobbed into the pillow.
