Volvo S80. There was a time not so long ago when Volvos were known for their safety and ruggedness, but their only style was the lack of style. More recently the brand began a life-altering transformation, converting from rear- to front-wheel drive and from boxy to stylish, inside and out. This was followed in rapid fashion by the addition of upscale elements of performance, luxury and athletic handling.

Thus Volvos second-generation S80 flagship sedan offers everything fans of European cars expect, plus a couple of key safety features that some competitors lack.

Welcome to our comprehensive Kelley Blue Book review of the Volvo S80. For more new car reviews, interviews and automotive news visit http://www.kbb.com today.

  • wow a heartbeat sensor... this is so useful. i'm gonna check periodically my key fob to see if there is anyone in my car lol. Saab FTW !

  • I wanna buy a Volvo, but were I live, in Romania, u ain't cool if u don't own a Bmw, Merc or Audi.

  • Saab 95 ftw

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj shut your ass up fucking piece of shit

  • i would definitely choose this over a 5 series, e class or a6..best looking for me, not as show off as german cars and more comfy, also i can have a naturally aspirated v8 instead of turbos

  • from my experience, volvos are great. I have an 06 XC70 with about 100k. No problems at all. very comfortable, plenty of power, very reliable. i never hear complaints about volvos, so for those who are having problems, sorry, but i seriously think it is something beyond the way it was built. take care of these and they will always take care of you. Recently did 10 hour drive to VA + about 20 hours worth of drving while down there and drove back without the slightest issue with the car

  • @mrjustin5 A few things:dont generalize a brand off one car-thats annoying. volvo makes good transmissions-either this was messed up before, or no one was smart enough to check the fluids b4. car was 8 years old-think about it.you need to do more than put gas in. alternator is routine. axel shaft-rough driving or crash. 02-common in all cars. ABS mod (sm comp chip)-crash damage, high temp, many other ways. lack of space=specific design engine-not tiny 4cyl. not hard to fix if u know wat ur doing

  • torque steer king!
