Here's an in-car video of me driving my 1991 Spec Miata at the Northwest Region SCCA's Autocross Event #1 on April 5, 2009. It took place at Bremerton Motorsports Park in Bremerton, WA. This is the third (and final) run of the day for me. The car is classed in Non-Stock 2 (index class is DSP).
The weather was fantastic. Temperatures were in the 60's and there was plenty of sun. The turnout was pretty huge, too, with over 200 entries.
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the driving!
I'm not sure. This is the first time I autocrossed the Spec Miata (in the DSP class). I suspect that a CSP Miata will be faster as it's better optimized for autocross. My car is set up for road racing and I was running on road racing tires (Toyo R888). It's definitely faster than an E Stock Miata.
