I won a contest through a radio station. It was so incredibly amazing! Believe it or not, I can usually sing decently well but this was very difficult! The guys were so great to me and I had the time of my life! If I could've chosen the song, I would've done something from Grassroots or Music but the contest was specifically promoting their new album and single.

You deserve to be proud! Who cares if you didn't sound perfect. You got a chance that many people would die for......to sing with 311. Cherish the memory because you did something many people would die for. Good for you!!!

Sheesh! It sucks that I have to monitor this thing to make sure the comments aren't vulgar and rude. I sent this link to my family and I plan to show my students when school starts up. I'm not claiming to have done a great job vocally; I just was proud of the opportunity to sing with my favorite band.
