Much too sensitive... so accept a slight revision, because I don't mean to personally offend: Give it up (your unfounded beliefs in an afterlife and a supreme being) Live your life (for today, for your friends and family).

I hope you know that I have not been offensive, but just want answers to the questions I have posed.

However, given the fact that you've clearly shown your contempt and disrespect for my position, then what's the point? You're not seeking to understand, or even humour an answer from me. You new atheists are all the same. You're just looking for any excuse to belittle and demean religion. Well haven't the time for it... I've got a life to live.

And what was "Give it up. Get a life."? That's not aggressive. That's downright offensive. And that's why I didn't bother to answer your question...

As I said, I get plenty of messages from atheists. And I respond politely when asked politely. Even to that guy who tried to deceive me into thinking he was ignorant about religion, I responded with grace. And we ended up with a nice little conversation.

So yes. I point. You lacked decorum and respect. And that's where I left it... God Bless.

@Mav79 Bitterness?? Hatred?? Where?? I don't think deities are logical constructions, that's all. I don't hate anyone.

At the moment I'm suffering to come to terms with the awful situation in Japan. At least I don't believe, as you must do, that a god did it. I believe in life, here and now, I do not want an afterlife. Thank you. Go in peace.

@StrumstickJoe You seem to think you're the only atheist who's ever left me a comment. I've seen them all. I had one who actually tried to get me to believe that he was completely ignorant of religion altogether. Nice guy. We had a great, long conversation on matters of faith - or lack of it. My point is, I more than welcome those who disagree with what I believe. But there are some, like you, who clearly come into it with a lack decorum, and even a basic respect for the other's point of view.

Nobody ever seems to give an answer to this question.

I don't get the bit about decorum, either. It's possible you think that any challenge to your beliefs is being aggressive. Well, I'm not, I'm cool, I just want a question answered, politely.
