  • i have one of these but you just plug it in

  • @maslabud that would be a long extension cord to the camp site though LOL.

  • What is the 'tube" made from and where can I find it?

  • it is water tubing for faucets found in the plumbing section of a Home Improvement center or hardware store.

  • Ah man, I shoulda quit watching your video's while I was ahead. Now I'm gonna have to make this coffee pot too. It's a great resource for ideas here isn't it.

  • @TheLimbReaper See that is one thing I have issues with myself but it is not just here on youtube but also when I am in an REI or Great Outdoor Provision Co. If I see it and think I can make it Im stuck until I figure out how it was made and what I can do to make my own LOL. So it is not just you!

  • Hi I was wondering if you might be able to email me at chip13hoss@gmail.com and ill give you my address in the email my friend and I really like the concepts of the Heiny pots and stoves but no bottle shops nor distributors have the items we require to attempt to make a set for ourselves. So was wondering if you might have two of the 24 ounce heiny cans you might be willing to send or sell and then send to me the aluminum also ty look forward to hearing from you soon ty.

  • Would you consider making one of the for sale. I'd be interested in buying one.

  • @NCHiker1970 Man, that is so true!

  • @NCHiker1970 lol and the power cord is only a foot long, i bought it at the salvation army for 3 bucks, i don't know what i was thinking but it works well.

  • @kphifer1 To wrap my pots I use JB weld and the automotive fiberglass wrap for exhaust systems or for body repair. I cut out a peice that is double in size and overlaps on the back. It is Cheaper and easier to find compared to the fiberglass wick material! As for painting the bottom of the pots black, that is to aid in the heating process, black attracts heat where as the polished pots reflect heat off.
