@nddavi58 That line actually does have a purpose. You know how the Oracle asks Smith what they did to the sweet little girl who was trying to get away from the Smiths? Well, the Smiths had absorbed the girl and turned her into a Smith, and the Smith that quoted "cookies need love like everything does" was the girl. And then the Oracle tells Smith he's a "bastard" upon hearing this. That quote serves to show how twisted and demented Smith is, as well as sound really creepy.
