Ole had a confrontation with Vince, along with Gorilla Monsoon, in the TBS parking lot after his purchase of Atlanta.

But he did buy Georgia Championship Wrestling/spot on TBS, but the audience didn't approve and called and complain and Ted Turner took them off....

@austinfailz I'm not sure, but I know Vince worked with other promotions up to the mid 1990s when he pretty much ran all of the major indys out of business...
Vince Sr sat on the Board of the NWA for years from the 1970s up till at 1983.... In 1984 Jr went and started Mania and his dad was moving more retirement due to age.... I think it would be interesting to see how things is when Vince steps down and HHH and Stephanie takes over???

@HobertC83 Didn't the NWA order him out and bought him out for twice what he paid to buy Georgia Championship Wrestling or something to that effect?
-
@bigmike7379 He turned it down.Know what you're talking about before you post.Der der der.lol

This is what really started the ratings war that accumulated into the now famous/infamous Monday Night War. The WWE/McMahons won, but A LOT of "dead bodies" were left on that field.
Too many really good and loyal people, as well as too much real talent, pay the price for what marks (and yes I am saying this) started by falling for the "bigger/flashier is better trap", and it is hurting WWE again, and TNA is doing more than "surviving on the leftovers" because of it.

@wheatbull and what exactly is Bruno and Haynes claiming Vince did to them??? lol
-
@bigmike7379 Ole wouldn't accept it anyways he's too busy being bitter at Vince Mcmahon lol
-
Ole is a bitter old man. Nobody likes him. I can't stand Vince either and I think he's a big hypocrite, but Ole is someone that was despised by all

Several things happened in the 1980s that changed wrestling for ever...
1 the WWF leaving the NWA in 1983.
2 Wrestlemania
3 The death of the Von Erichs, David who was destined to been NWA champion.
4 World Class charter with the NWA ending.
5 WWF expanding 1st into Canada and the west coast.
6 the NWA expanding from Georgia and Mid Atlantic into Florida and UWF/mid south which was total failures the way they were done....
I pretty much agree with Ole, the McMahons betrayed so many people...
