@BeachFlagger but that's not a medley relay. this is a random mixed relay. a medley relay is swum as:

1)Backstroke

2)Breaststroke

3)Butterfly

4)Freestyle

and this is a real medley relay I'm talking a bout, that's swam in the Olympics. This isn't, and so it isn't a medley relay. What gives you the idea that it is a 'medley', which is made up of all four strokes?

As you may have noticed, this is swum at the World Games. The World Games are the "Olympic Games" for non-Olympic sports. And this sport is called Life Saving and not swimming. So I got the name from the International Life Saving Federation (ILS), they gave it the name Medley Relay.

@BeachFlagger fair enough, but medley relay is a term generally interpreted as that event that is swam in the Olympics. I did notice it was a life saving video, but I'm sure far more people would argue that a medley relay is made up of the four strokes. We are however, talking world games here, and I agree that the terminology used may be slightly different in that than competitive swimming events themselves. Not criticising or arguing, just making a point. ;)
