(HtM*Covered Cube) Origami その8

This is one of my favorites. Looks like a cube wrapped in a tetrahedron. It is possible to connect Covered Cubes together.

Sorry, no time making vids now.

And it's easy to put the cubes together.

1. Just use 1/4 x 1/2 of the regular paper.

2. Fold it in half to make a square.

3. Fold/Unfold the square diagnaly in half.

4. Make 3 of this.

Try using these units (inplace of the inner parts) to combine the cubes.

Quite interesting...Doesn't use a lock-tab but it looks pretty stable since it's a cube.

I'll have to try that sometime with the dodecahedron, each piece seems like a lot of steps so it must have taken quite a while.
