Video recorded on a Widereø Dash-8 series 100 on a scheduled flight from Vadsø ( Vadso , Vadsoe ). It shows approach and landing at Svartnes airport which is located just outside of Vardø ( Vardo , Vardoe ), on the Varanger Peninsula (Varangerhalvøya) in Finnmark, Norway. On the final approach you can see houses and buldings in Vardø. You can also see the Globus II radar which is used to spy on the russians. Note the car coming out of the underwatertunnel. This subsea tunnel, opened in 1983, was the first in Norway.
