Slum Survivor Lichfield

a group of young people from wade street church in Lichfield spent a weekend living outside in a slum that they built themselves out of rubbish, living on a limited diet of rice and lentils, without any luxuries (no mobile phones, ipods, pillows, hairbrushes, deodrant etc.) and completing a number of challenges to simulate what life is like in a real slum. This video shows some of the highlights

They managed to raise over £1000 for Soul Action (see www.soulaction.org for more info) and learnt to appreciate what they have and how to relate to the billion people all over the world who live this way for the whole of their lives
