The roughly 18 month old New York Metro Pipe Band went to Scotland for the Pipe Band World Championships. Won the qualifying heat and went through to the final and with a excellent performance took 4 1st place marks to become the newest Grade 3B Champions!!!!

@erlegere875 the grade 2 in the EUSPBA is very thin. There is no point going to a contest when your the only one competing in the grade. Ulster Scottish competed in 3A and were beat by other bands. Ulster Scottish had beaten Metro. Now do you really think they should be moved to grade 2? So there are other band out there that are just as good if not better.

Why were they in Grade 3B? With a band stacked like that, you could of easily played grade 2!
