Yeah i was thinking of getting a 15 dollar black casing which they said isn't clear. I heard Blacks are best for gaming because they are stiff and what not; Blue seems good for both, brown seems like "upper middle class" but i don't know much about the whites, clear, white alps, gosh there's just so many switches! The only thing annoying about the deck is the placement of the console or ~` key =/

Is the 82 Deck worth the money? Also since i don't like colored schemed plates, i was gonna spend another 15 bucks on their casing (black). Did you try asking for replacement LEDs? This is the only reason as to why i want to buy a Filco Tenkeyless 87 Keyboard over this.

The black looks good, just make sure it's opaque because otherwise it may look awkward with leds shining through it. I haven't asked yet, but I doubt it would be an issue as the company has some of the best customer service I've encountered.
I think the 82 deck is worth it! If you want a small-frame cherry-switch keyboard, then this is it. However, my keyboard is a black cherry switch, and the newer models are white (or clear) cherry switches, so that makes them at least a better deal.
