How are the sounds on the EWI? I want one but don't want to spend a bunch of money on MIDIs and stuff.

It really depends on what you're using it for. I use mine porimarily for practice. For that purpose, it sounds great. Also, if you like analog synth sounds you'll like it. Just don't get it expecting it to sounds like a sax - it doesn't (without sound modules). I hook mine up to may laptop and use it with reason to get other sounds. Reason has really good support for wind synths...
