insubordinate1200; I understand your frustration with the government and how it suppresses our voice. But that is no reason to give into the "Corporate Mania". I personally would have left this country long ago, if I could have predicted the future of the current events, with respect to the economic crisis, in this country..why because I believe that, for example, the EU is light years ahead of us with respect to "Basic Human Dignity"..This country has turned a deaf ear for decades!!!!!

The Nation Needs Bader Now!I called this number for AT&T 1-800-283-6407It is the corporate number.I spoke to a very nice woman who said she is taking names of everone who calls in to ask that the debates be opened up to the 3rd parties.And if they get enough people call in they will seriously consider opening up the debates!AT&T is the big money Corporation that controls both the parties and they control and sponsor the debates. They make the rules on who can debate. Please call for Democracy

I'm simply realistic in my thinking and expectations re: the American political landscape, circa 2008 CE. Suggesting otherwise (i.e., terms like "accomplice" and "defeatist mind set") demonstrate only that you're missing my point. It doesn't matter who you support, even if they make sense and are actually honorable, it doesn't alter the core reality that we don't *really* decide the outcome of any given election. It's a wonderful sentiment, to be sure, but...
