Star Trek Online Space Navigation and Battle

An example of some galaxy navigation and a space battle from Star Trek Online. I'm using the cruiser ship type, movement and action are a bit faster if you use a smaller, more agile craft. The game goes Free 2 Play on January 17, 2011.

Is PVP available on the F2P mode? Or do you have to pay "a nominal fee" for that privilege?

they acually want all players to be able to get everything in the game...F2P players can buy C points from paying or lifetime players for Dilithuim so the F2P players can get the vanity stuff.

Yeah, Star Trek is pretty much entirely free. The just charge your for vanity for the most part.

@nmarchan I see, it's just that many F2P mmos have "nominal fees" everywhere to entice you to pay more than you would with a game that had a flat monthly fee. Some measures include limiting your level, or limiting you to "n00b island," etc.
