This was an incredible experience! RUSH was on tour for Moving Pictures. I had gone to Reunion Arena and caught the show there. And, if you read the concert book for Signals (the only one I've ever bought) RUSH had gone down to Florida to witness the shuttle launch. Then they came back to Shreveport to play a killer 3 hour concert as Max Webster had broken up. Having been a NASA contractor for many years, I was amazed that my favoritest band of all time had been down there for the launch!

What's really cool is that this concert actually took place during the maiden flight of Challenger (STS-6).
-
How the hell did the guy that recorded this manage to get a video cam into the concert? Back then, they were almost as large as a man's torso!

This song is amazing. Watch this along with any of the shuttle launches... breathless

Every Rush fan has their favorite album. SIgnals resonates most with me. The ride/outro really finishes this album wonderfully, by leaving you wanting more.
@vaportrails44 Come on man, a true Rush fan would respect the fact they still play. I saw them in 2008, and I was 15 then, and it was the best concert i've been to. I hope to god they tour again, because I really want to see them again. It doesnt matter how old they are or how tuned down they play their songs now days, I just love that band so much. If I was in a professional band I would hope to be atleast half as good as Rush.

@redx880 I love Rush as well, and I am 43. Rush has two divisions of fans. Fans who grew up in the late 70s and early 80s, when Rush was at their creative peak (Creativity stagnates in your 40s as you become more set in your ways and more conservative). I don't like their post-Moving pictures material; however, we all share one thing. WE ALL LOVE RUSH AND THEIR KICKASS MUSIC---new, old, young, mature---doesn't matter. For those who don't like Rush for whatever reason: FUCKEM
