Massive Dragonlance fan, but I won't be watching this shite. I hope I live to see a full action version made in a lord of the rings style. The books are the greatest set of books I have ever or will ever read.

I didn't think the movie was that bad for a kids' movie, but it shouldn't have been a kids movie. Still, the Lord Of The Rings got made into a cartoon before it was a full-action epic. But then again, the lord of the rings cartoon was brilliant.

The main problem I have with this is the contrast between the CG of the dragons and draconians and the cartoon hand-drawn style of the rest of the characters and background. It just doesn't work, go all one or the other, not half-and-half.

George R.R. Martins', "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is by far is the best high fantasy I've ever read. I highly suggest it to anyone who enjoys fantasy.

the Old TSR Inc got loads of marvelous fantasy theme Novel and Dragonlance is one of them, i wonder who dare to make it as trilogy like LOTR?

But LOTR is a gamble that work miracuosly, we need a great director and and commitment like New line cinema to have another Dragonlance trilogy.. and i hope it wont be the director that made Transformer...

jesus, no wonder I never heard of this before... the animation is... well, the barsteward child of Heavy Gear (which was alright) and 80s Action Hour. What, is nobody going to make a fan project to shame this abomination?
