GOING DARK: THE ROAD TO BAMBOOZLE 2011 by Fiore Films

http://www.goingdarkband.com Speaking in the video are the judges from The Break Contest: John D.- owner of The Break Contest, co-owner & creator of the Bamboozle Festival and VP at Live Nation; Jimmy Gnecco- performed with bands internationally for over 18 years, lead singer of the rock band Ours and worked with Brian May (of Queen) on a song for the "Spider-Man 2" soundtrack; Bret Romnes- musician for over 18 years and drummer for I Am The Avalanche; David Smith- Linc Star Records marketing, consultant to The Bamboozle festival, co-owner of indie label Gig Records for 10 yrs., worked on national marketing campaigns for many bands including Radiohead & Coldplay. Going Dark: Oliver Shaw (11), LJ Militello (13), and Alex Fogg (14), who met about a year ago and entered The Break Contest with over 500 bands this past winter. For only the second time ever in the contest's ten year history, The Break Contest judges awarded a contract to perform at Bamboozle ON STAGE immediately following their performance! The panel of judges was "blown away" by the band's set, as you hear in the video. This promotional video shows clips of Going Dark's journey rehearsing, competing at The Stone Pony and playing a prime-time slot at Bamboozle 2011 on Sunday, May 1st prior to the event's headliners including Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, and Motley Crue.
