@rainbowbrainheadThe thing is most of the world is not industrialized,and in poorer countries women have no choice but to work as hard as men,so they are respected equally.Hence so many matrilineal societies in poor countries of Africa,Asia,andSouth America.The richer countries where women were less respected because they didn't work have since developed feminism where now women have equal rights as men.That leaves parts of middle east as the only female-oppressing societies.

@1324354657687988 Exactly how do men have 'less power"? The only men who don't have power are poor men. Regardless, men still have the most power. The western world is very small portion of the world as a whole and mostly run by men. All other countries - the east, middle east, etc. are still run almost solely by men with very few exceptions.

@rainbowbrainhead Women were responsible for raising children for the past four centuries when women would stay at home with the children while the fathers were at work all day.Either way the thing about power is that a lot of things come with it,including responsibility for all the bad that happens.Many people in the past blamed men for anything bad that happen just because they're in a position of power.Now they have less power but are still being blamed for everything.

@1324354657687988 I would think since mostly men have run the world, albeit a very few females involved, that not only can men take a lot of the credit for the world, they must also assume a lot of the blame for it as well. Really? When exactly did women raise the children all by herself? More women do that NOW than in years past. I never said women would be better rulers...but you can rest assured on this one thing: If they DID RULE and WERE better rulers, very few men would acknowledge it.

@rainbowbrainhead The state of the world can't be blamed solely on men.Especially since for years women were the ones who raised both boys and girls, so how they are now is virtually due to women.But my point is there's no reason to believe women would rule any better if they were actually ruling as women would compared to as a man would. Anyway women do have power in the world as rulers so there's no need for feminist trying to give them more power.

I still don't get what makes you think that women are ruling like men.Maybe the reason they make the same decisions is because that's what the situation calls for,not because it's what a man has done before.Or maybe you're right and the only reason the world is still standing is because people rule like men.Maybe a real woman would be a terrible ruler.And, honestly, all I can come up with couldn't fit into that 1 comment.Perhaps I'll dedicate the next one to it.

@1324354657687988 I didn't say we didn't know how women would rule. I already acknowledged women had ruled. I'm saying future female rulers would have to rule like their male counterparts. Just because males have done most of the ruling, doesn't mean they haven't made heaps of errors. You can tell females in the past have ruled like men have. You already acknowledged in another post that was the case. How are women to blame for removal of urinals? Is that all you could come up with? lol

@rainbowbrainhead We do know how a woman would rule a country because women have ruled countries. What evidence do you have that these women are only ruling it the way a man would? Exactly how would a woman rule a country if she went by her own standards? And in some Scandanavian places they have eliminated urinals where now men have to squat on a toilet like a woman. Of course you probably think that's not misandric, right?
